Police are currently investigating the death at Prince’s estate in Carver County, Minnesota.
Prince had canceled a concert earlier this month saying that he wasn’t feeling well. He performed in Atlanta recently but his plane had to make an emergency landing in Moline, Illinois where the singer was examined at a local hospital. He was released from the hospital and returned to his home in Minnesota.
Prince was nominated for 30 Grammy Awards and won 7. He also won an Academy Award for the original song score to his movie ‘Purple Rain.’
