Park Forest IL—(ENEWSPF)—August 18, 2017. The Unitarian Universalist Community Church (UUCC), 70 Sycamore Drive in Park Forest will screen the documentary film ‘The Age of Consequences’ on Friday, August 25 at 7 p.m. A discussion will follow.
‘The Age of Consequences’ looks at the impacts of climate change, how water and food shortages, extreme weather, drought, and sea-level rise function as ‘accelerants of instability’ and ‘catalysts for conflict’ in volatile regions of the world. These consequences of climate change – waves of refugees, failed states, and terrorism create a call to action to rethink how we use and produce energy.
UUCC has purchased the rights to show this film so this important information could be shared with the community.
