Park Forest, IL—(ENEWSPF)—July 28, 2014. The 4^th Annual Hummingbird Festival will be held on Saturday, August 16 from 3 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the Park Forest Discovery Center, 30 North Orchard (located next to the Park Forest Aqua Center).

Here’s your chance to see Ruby-throated Hummingbirds at close range and even “adopt” one. Vernon Kleen, avian ecologist, will capture and band the “Hummers” before releasing them.

The event is free and open to the public. This program is sponsored by the Village of Park Forest and Thorn Creek Audubon Society.
