Park Forest, IL—(ENEWSPF)—October 6, 2014. It’s that time of year again…the 2014 ‘Haunts Against Hunger’ events will take place in Park Forest again this year to benefit the Monee and Rich Township Food Pantries.
Come out and visit the Haunted House at Calvary United Church, 425 North Orchard (corner of Orchard & Lincoln Highway) on Friday, October 24 and Saturday, October 25 from 7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
Event Donation: bring a canned good for the Food Pantries and your cost is $4 per person. Attendance without a food donation is $5 per person. There is a $2 charge for children ages 5 and under.
The Haunted Yard will take place from dusk to 10 p.m. at the Schaefer home, 127 Shabbona Drive, Park Forest. There will be music after dusk and scary things to experience in the yard.
On Halloween, Friday, October 31 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., there will be a ‘Trunk or Treat’ with a free chili dinner at Calvary United Church, 425 North Orchard (corner of Orchard and Lincoln Highway).
Note: Donations of canned goods can also be made at the Haunted Yard and ‘Trunk or Treat’ events.
