Park Forest, IL-(ENEWSPF)- Brittany Coleman, Community Engagement Coordinator at the Park Forest Public Library, asked us to highlight two events this week at the library: Simple Switches for a Healthier Lifestyle on Wednesday, February 20, and Alzheimer’s Association Presents: Know the 10 Signs on Saturday, February 23. The first is a class will help you determine nutritional fact from marketing fiction, empowering you to make choices right for you and your family. The second takes a look at the warning signs of Alzheimer’s disease, often dismissed as side effects of normal aging. If you or someone you know is experiencing memory loss or behavioral changes, it’s time to learn the facts.

These events are above and beyond the usual services the library provides. There are technology services, including access to public computers, printing, free Wi-Fi, and more; studying and meeting rooms available; free home delivery services to residents of Park Forest and Olympia Fields; various book drop locations at the library, Park Forest Village Hall, and the Olympia Fields Post Office; and more.
