Park Forest, IL–(ENEWSPF)–November 21, 2009. By a vote of 60 to 39, the U.S. Senate has voted to move the health care bill to the floor for debate. Votes, as anticipated were along party lines.
Tonight’s vote by the Senate is merely a procedural motion to continue debating the issue of health care reform. While the issue of reforming health care has been debated for decades, this is the first time that reform bills have ever moved this far along in the legisaltive process.
