Washington, D.C.–(ENEWSPF)–March 25, 2010. The U.S. Senate has passed the Reconciliation bill by a vote of 56 to 43. Three Democrats voted against the bill, namely: Senators Ben Nelson (Nebraska), Mark Pryor (Arkansas) and Blanche Lincoln (Arkansas). Reconciliation bills only require a simple majority to pass.
The House is expected to vote on the bill tonight.
