Park Forest, IL-(ENEWSPF)- The first election forum for the April 4 Consolidated Election will happen next Sunday, January 29, live at 1:00 PM at Park Forest Village Hall. This premier local event of our election season is sponsored by the Park Forest Non-Partisan Committee on Local Government.

The forum will be held in the Board Room of Village Hall.

Candidates taking your questions in this first forum are running for Village President/Mayor and Village Trustee.

There are two candidates on the ballot for mayor: Jonathan Vanderbilt and Joseph Woods. Participating village trustee candidates include Andrew Gladstone, Tiffani Graham, John Moore, and Justin Travis.

A brochure of candidate statements, and statements from each candidate, can be found here on the Non-Partisan Committee’s website inside the blog posts for each office: mayor, village trustee, and library trustee.

If you have an idea of a question you would like to ask the candidates, please send them to [email protected].

The Park Forest Non-Partisan Committee (NPC) is a non-profit volunteer organization that facilitates the forums. You can support the NPC with a check or cash at the forum. You may also join and or donate to the NPC in advance of the forum here on the NPC’s website with more information about the benefits of membership in the Non-Partisan Committee.

Please help spread the word and plan to attend the January 29 forum.
