Executive Orders from Toni Preckwinkle Related to COVID-19 Limiting Official Meetings, Restricting Official Employee Travel

Chicago, IL-(ENEWSPF)- Cook County Board President Toni Preckwinkle issued two executive orders related to the current COVID-19 virus pandemic and County operations. The orders are made "out of an abundance of caution," according to a statement from Cook County.

Using her statutory authority as the County’s chief executive officer, the orders directly impact upcoming committee and subcommittee meetings by the Board of Commissioners and most, if not all, official travel by County employees.
