Park Forest, IL-(ENEWSPF)- Ring in the new year in the Central Park Wetlands. An invitation is hereby extended to all residents of the Village of Park Forest for a unique gathering.
Members of the Park Forest Recreation and Parks Advisory Board invite you to the “First Day in Nature” walk through the Central Park Wetlands on Tuesday, January 1, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. A naturalist will guide participants through some fascinating facts about the wetlands while you sip hot chocolate and roast marshmallows.
If snow is on the ground, residents are encouraged to bring sleds, cross-country skis, and/or snowshoes.
Mark your calendars now so you can greet 2019 surrounded by the beauty of nature.
