Autistic Teen FOUND: Park Forest Police Seek Public’s Help

FOUND! Jeremiah’s family and the Park Forest Police report that he is home and resting.

Park Forest, IL-(ENEWSPF)- Jeremiah Smith, 13, is missing, and the Park Forest Police Department hopes you can help find him.

Police issued a statement late Saturday afternoon indicating that the department “is seeking the public’s assistance with locating 13-year-old Jeremiah Smith. He left his home in the 200 block of Kentucky Street around 3 p.m. this afternoon.”

Jeremiah is 5’08”, 135 lbs, and is believed to be wearing dark gray or blue jogging pants, gray and white sneakers, and a dark gray coat with red on it, according to police.

Jeremiah is on the autism spectrum but is verbal, police said in the statement.

Please call 911 immediately if you see Jeremiah.
