Park Forest, IL-(ENEWSPF)- Mayor John Ostenburg announced at Monday evening's meeting of the village board that over 500 people voted in the first day of early voting on Monday, October 24. This was confirmed by Village Manager Tom Mick.
Mayor Ostenburg commented on the large voter turnout, saying that he remembers village elections when the number of people who voted fell shy of 500.
