1950s Museum–Cultural Amenity

Hello Park Forest!

Like me, you probably just received your Village of Park Forest "Resident Handbook".

Do the Park Forest Historical Society and yourselves a favor.  Turn to Page 11 in your handbook, and ink in the 1950s Park Forest House Museum at 141 Forest Blvd, open 1-3 on Saturdays. www.parkforesthistory.org.  There is a "Notes" page in the back where you could write us in, if you prefer that.  Now turn to the map on the inside front cover.  Look for the corner of Forest and Fir and make another big red dot on your map, showing where the museum is located.  Keep this book handy.  The Society hopes you will take advantage of all of the Arts and Entertainment Cultural Amenities in the village.

Illinois Theatre Center, Tall Grass Arts Association, the other galleries and dance studios in Downtown Park Forest, and the 1950s Park Forest House Museum are all hoping that people will visit and support them.  They all rely on public support.  Visitor counts help us all when we try to get grant or corporate support.

We all hope to see you soon!
