Today, President Obama called Arkansas Governor Mike Beebe to offer condolences for the tragic loss of life during the horrible flooding in Arkansas and express his concern for those who remain missing. President Obama assured Governor Beebe that FEMA will remain in close contact with Arkansas Emergency Management and report back any unmet needs. The President asked the Governor to let him know if he or the people of his state need further assistance in the effort to respond to this terrible tragedy.
