Dallas, TX—(ENEWSPF)—November 6, 2011. Eight OccupyDallas protesters were arrested Saturday at the Bank of America Plaza downtown after an off-duty police officer shoved a protester off of a ledge.
One is being held for felony assault on an officer. Seven are being held for improper use of a sidewalk and of those seven, three are under investigation for attempting to incite a riot.
Fellow members of OccupyDallas and their legal team filed the paperwork to post bail at 10 a.m. Sunday. As of 4 p.m. Sunday afternoon, all eight of the arrested protesters remain in custody at the Lew Sterrett jail.
