Crystal Zevon, a long-time friend of Browne and an occupier at Freedom Plaza said “As soon as Jackson heard I was occupying at Occupy Washington D.C., he wanted to know what he could do to help.  Like those of us who are living in tents  our belief that trying to work within the ‘system’ no longer works, Jackson has pledged his support for the occupy movement.”

Browne recently donated three bicycle generators to Occupy Washington D.C. ( and has pledged to do more, including performing at Freedom Plaza tomorrow.
