Winter Walkers: Thorn Creek Woods

Want a little nature in your winter? Looking to explore the preserves? Get outside, trek the trails and enjoy the magic of the season! Join a naturalist at different forest preserves in Will County throughout January and February. This week, walk through the trees and look for wildlife at Thorn Creek Woods Nature Preserve.

Age: All ages.

Please dress for the weather and use caution while hiking outdoors given the possible wintery conditions. Meet at Thorn Creek Nature Center.

The hike will be approximately 1 mile on natural surface trails over uneven terrain. Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service to participate in this program should submit a request online (https://www.reconnectwithnature.org/americans-with-disabilities-act-information/request-accommodation-inclusion-service/) no later than 48 hours before the program.
