NEW YORK–(ENEWSPF)–October 5, 2016.   Donald Trump and his campaign repeat false claims that the Clinton Foundation doesn’t spend the majority of its money and resources on charitable work.

This is just plain wrong – the Clinton Foundation spent about 89 percent of its budget on charity in fiscal year 2014. The Foundation is an operating foundation. The money raised by the Foundation is spent directly on its programs, and not as grants to other charitable organizations. The majority of the Clinton Foundation’s charitable work is performed and implemented by their staff and partners on the ground. This has been affirmed by FactCheck.org and Politifact.“The bulk of the Clinton Foundation’s charitable work is actually performed in house, and last year one independent watchdog did an analysis of the Foundation’s funding, and found that 89% of the funding went to charity, earning it an ‘A’ rating.” – CNN, June 2016“Daniel Borochoff, president and founder of CharityWatch, told us by phone that its analysis of the finances of the Clinton Foundation and its affiliates found that about 89 percent of the foundation budget is spent on programming (or ‘charity’), higher than the 75 percent considered the industry standard.” -FactCheck.org, 6/19/15  The Trump Reality:
