Park Forest, IL—(ENEWSPF)— Editor’s Note: We continue our reporting on news from police reports. Besides covering the many stories from around Park Forest that otherwise might go unnoticed, we want to bring more complete coverage of police reports than is reported by other local media.

Two blue Yamaha 6-speed four-wheelers valued at $1500 and a red Honda Factory Effex 85R dirt bike valued at $2500 were reported stolen from a residence in the first block of Sangamon Court on October 31. Police received a tip from an individual stating that someone had attempted to sell him a dirt bike and two four-wheelers. Officers were directed to a residence in the 300 block of Shabbona where they discovered four men and the stolen vehicles. Four men were arrested in connection with this incident. Police continue to investigate. Charges are pending.
A 6′ x 7′ storm window of a house in the 200 block of Lee Street was reported shot with a BB gun on October 31.
A glass storm window of a residence in the 100 block of Washington Street was reported shattered by a rock on October 31.
Cory J. Irons, 27, 119 Nanti St., Park Forest, was arrested on October 31 and charged with possession of cannabis when police responded to that address in reference to an alarm call.
The driver’s side front tire of a vehicle parked in the 200 block of Lee Street was reported stolen on October 31. Police have suspect information.
Cornelius White, 37, 2405 S. 12th Ave., Broadview, IL, was arrested on October 31 and charged with unlawful possession of cannabis and driving with an expired registration when an officer on street patrol observed the vehicle White was driving traveling south on Western Avenue at Sycamore Drive with an expired registration.
Capri S. Crosby, 29, 142 Warwick St., Park Forest, was arrested on October 31 and charged with battery and criminal damage to property when police were dispatched to a residence in the 200 block of Allegheny street to investigate a report of battery.
Two juveniles were arrested and charged with battery when Police were dispatched to Rich East High School on November 1 to investigate a report of a disturbance.
A window of a residence in the 100 block of Willow Street was reported shattered by a rock on November 1.
A doorframe of a house in the 200 block of Allegheny street was reported damaged on November 1. Police responded to that residence to investigate a residential burglary. Nothing was reported missing from the house.
Officers were dispatched to CVS Pharmacy, 1 Main St., to investigate a report of a theft of a can of Frito Lay cheese dip. Police have suspect information.
A girls pink Huffy mountain bike was reported stolen from a residence in the 400 block of Lakewood Boulevard on November 1.
Police were dispatched to a residence in the 100 block of Westwood Drive on November 1 to investigate a report of domestic battery. Police have suspect information.
The rear window of a vehicle parked in the first block of Blackhawk Drive was reported shattered on November 2.
Police were dispatched to a residence in the 300 block of Merrimac to investigate a report of a suicidal subject in the garage of a residence armed with a handgun. While en route, SouthCom Dispatch advised responding units that shots had been fired in the garage. Upon arrival, officers observed a male subject in the garage, who was ordered out of the garage and taken into custody. The man related that he was upset and was going to shoot himself, according to police. He further related that while holding the gun, he was pulling the hammer back and it slipped forward, firing a round into the ground, according to police. The revolver was placed into evidence for safekeeping, according to police.
Nathan Moore, 27, 161 Hemlock St., Park Forest, was arrested on November 2 and charged with retail theft when police responded to CVS Pharmacy, 1 Main St., to investigate a report of retail theft. Sidney Lagarde, 18, 3354 Western Ave., Park Forest, was arrested and charged with criminal trespass to real property in connection with this incident, according to police.
A white Pacific Voyager woman’s mountain bike was reported stolen from a residence in the first block of Ash Street on November 3.
A black GMC Savanna Van, parked in the 100 block of Elm Street, which had been reported stolen out of Chicago, was located and recovered by Officer Mannino on November 3.
Andre L. Harden, 35, 9 Apache St., Park Forest, was arrested on November 3 and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia when detectives patrolling the Eastgate community observed three subjects gambling in the driveway of a residence in the first block of Apache. Antonio C. Kelly, 27, 829 White Oak, University Park, was arrested and charged with gambling. Police are seeking a third subject.
An orange AMX BMX bicycle was reported stolen from the 200 block of Lakewood Boulevard on November 3.
A 14-year-old juvenile was arrested on November 3 and charged with retail theft, illegal possession of ammunition without a Firearm Owner Identification Card when police were dispatched to the 7-11 Convenience Store on Sauk Trail in reference to a report of retail theft with the offender being detained.
Angela M. Rivers, 24, 6037 S. Eberhart, Chicago, was arrested on November 4 and charged with criminal trespass to land when police responded to the 300 block of Seminole Street in reference to a report of a domestic disturbance.
Mark W. Green, 39, 285 Allegheny St., Park Forest, was arrested on November 4 and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia when detectives on patrol in the area of Allegheny and Apache Streets observed Green involved in what appeared to be a hand-to-hand transaction with another individual, according to police.
A blue 2009 Chevrolet Malibu, Illinois registration #8934348, was reported stolen from a residence in the 400 block of Suwanee Street on November 4.
Police were dispatched to the Speedway Gas Station, 401 Sauk Trail, on November 4 to investigate a report of retail theft. Police have suspect information.
Cedric W. Williams, 48, 15 West Rocket Circle, Park Forest, was arrested on November 4 and charged with criminal trespass when police were dispatched to CVS pharmacy, 1 Main St., in reference to a report of a retail theft in progress.
Kizzie Beck, 30, 295 Dogwood St., Park Forest, was arrested on November 4 and charged with possession of cannabis when police were dispatched to that address to investigate a report of two young children who were left home alone. DCFS was also advised of the case.
A radar detector and a backpack were reported stolen from a vehicle parked in the 100 block of North Arbor Trails on November 4. The vehicle’s front passenger window had been shattered.
A 16 inch boy’s BMX Wipeout bicycle was reported stolen from the 100 block of Lester Street on November 4.
Police were dispatched to the 300 block of Windsor Street on November 5 to investigate a report of battery. Police continue to investigate.
Sentoria M. Tyler, 37, 69 Fir St., Park Forest, was arrested on November 5 and charged with criminal trespass to land when police were dispatched to the first block of Birch Street to investigate a report of an unwanted subject who had returned.
A 10-year-old juvenile was arrested and taken into custody when he was allegedly discovered smoking marijuana in the washroom at Mohawk School. Detective Commander Green was contacted, and this incident will be referred to him for possible referral to the Neighborhood Restorative Justice Program, according to police.
Simon “Daniel” Bucel, 61, 23 Forest Blvd., Park Forest, was arrested on November 6 and charged with domestic battery when police were dispatched to that address in reference to a report of battery.
A window of a residence in the 100 block of Indianwood Boulevard was reported shattered on November 6.
