Park Forest, IL–(ENEWSPF)–August 12, 2016. The Saturday Morning Gardening Series presented by the Park Forest Environment Commission continues on Saturday, August 20, with a presentation on fall in the garden.
Early fall is the ideal time for lawn care, assessing garden needs, and planning for next year’s garden. Aerating, fertilizing, weed control, seeding the yard, and prepping for new garden beds are all great activities for the fall gardener.
The free session begins at 10:30 a.m. at the Wetlands Discovery Center, 30 N. Orchard Drive, located inside of the Park Forest Aqua Center.
