Jeff Sessions’ Attack on Legal Marijuana Draws Fierce Bipartisan Opposition

Yesterday, Jeff Sessions made worldwide news when he rescinded the Obama-era “Cole Memo” that allowed states to move forward with marijuana legalization, with limited federal intrusion.

The blowback has been fast and furious, with dozens of Republican and Democratic lawmakers speaking out in support of the legal regulation of marijuana.

Below is just a small sample of the national media coverage on the extraordinary opposition to Sessions’ move.
