Mildred Reynolds, nee Ljiljak “Lilac”, born on August 29, 1917 to Jovo (Manda) Ljiljak in Flint, MI, Mildred 93, passed away peacefully on October 22, 2010, at Wittenberg Lutheran Village in Crown Point, IN. Previously of Chicago-Roseland area and Park Forest, IL. Mildred was preceded in death by her husband Gordon, Sr., her son Gary (Janet) of Kankakee, IL and her grandson Brian Reynolds; loving mother of Gordon, Jr. (Mary Ann) of Crown Point, IN, William (Jane) of Marion, IL, James of Park Forest and Richard (Vicki) of Lansing, IL; fond sister of Daisy (late Edward) Karkoski, Josephine (late James) Baker, late Sophie (late Reginald) Jehnsen, late Rose (late Pete) Dubenion, late Smelia (Michael) Dushan and late brother Michael (late Ida) Lilac; cherished grandmother of 6 and great-grandmother of 6. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Mildred was a 50 year member and past President of P.E.O. Chapter #1. Resting at Lain-Sullivan Funeral Home & Crematory, 50 Westwood Dr., just west of Western on Norwood, Park Forest, IL, where friends may call on Monday from 2 to 8 p.m. with a Service beginning at 5:30 p.m. Father John Baker, officiating.
