She pointed to the successful apprenticeship partnership between Mojave Electric and the local electric workers union, and discussed her plans to expand this kind of training opportunity and make debt-free college available to all Americans.
She also noted that Donald Trump has a different approach: instead of training workers, he exploits them. From scamming families out of their savings with a fraudulent “University,” stiffing small businesses and spurring job losses in Atlantic City, to outsourcing his products, rooting for the housing market to crash for his personal gain and
refusing to release his tax returns, Donald Trump has preyed on ordinary Americans throughout his career.
Donald Trump’s Education Record? Trump University
We know you know, it wasn’t a real university, but Trump’s eponymous institution certainly schooled its “customers” in getting scammed by a “billionaire” only looking out for himself.
San Diego Union-Tribune: Court documents that continue to be unsealed in the Trump University case portray the program as a “fraudulent scheme” that employed high-pressure sales tactics to extract as much money from customers as possible.
The New Yorker: From the time Trump University began operating, in 2005, the A.G.’s office repeatedly warned the company that it was breaking the law by calling itself a university.
New York Times: Within the documents made public Tuesday were internal employee guides encouraging customers with little money to pay for the tuition with their credit cards.

Stiffing the Little Guy Because He Can
Fighting union organizing efforts at his Las Vegas hotel? Stiffing contractors just because he could? These are just another day in the life of Donald Trump: he gets rich, you get scammed.
LA Times: More than 500 [Trump International] hotel workers…in December voted 238 to 209 to join the Culinary Workers Union Local 226 and Bartenders Union Local 165….Donald Trump’s managers have fought unionization every step of the way. They filed 15 objections with the National Labor Relations Board.
USA Today: Trump [offered] as little as 30 cents on the dollar to some of the contractors
Larry Walters, owner of a Las Vegas drapery factory: Settled with Trump for nearly $400,000 less than Trump owed him because Trump was “going to drag it on for many, many years.”
Rooting for the Housing Market to Crash
It would be hard to believe if it were any other candidate, but Donald Trump actually rooted for the housing market to crash for his personal financial gain. What’s more, he wants to do away with the rules President Obama put in place to stop another economic crisis, and shutter the agency created to protect consumers.
