Park Forest Police: The Burglary Report Through December 18, 2017

Park Forest, IL—(ENEWSPF)— The burglary report, filed as a separate story. Under our new arrangement with the Park Forest Police Department, these reports are sent separately.

An officer was dispatched to the Park Forest Police Department on December 12 to speak with a complainant regarding a burglary to a residence in the 300 block of Sioux Street. The owner discovered damage to a window, as well as drywall and copper piping inside the residence. Several areas of drywall and copper piping had been removed, according to police. Police gathered evidence from the scene and are investigating.

An officer responded to the 200 block of Mantua Street on December 15 to investigate a report of a burglary from a motor vehicle. The owner of the vehicle observed that car was unlocked and items in the vehicle were thrown about. There is no mention of forced entry to the vehicle in the report.

An officer was summoned to the Park Forest Police Department on December 15 in reference to a report of a burglary to a vehicle. According to police, a vehicle parked in the first block of Gibson Street was left unlocked. A wallet, a GPS device, and some coins were reported missing from the vehicle.
