Burglary Suspect Caught On Video: Report Through December 4, 2017

Park Forest, IL-(ENEWSPF)- Below are reports of two burglaries reported between November 29 and December 4, 2017. In one instance, a burglary suspect was seen on video thanks to security cameras positioned outside the home.

Copper Piping Stolen From Navajo

Police discovered that the backdoor of a residence in the 400 block of Navajo Street had been kicked in when they responded to a report of a burglary on November 29. An unknown person or persons entered the residence after kicking in the door, damaging drywall in order to remove Copper piping, according to police. Police photographed the scene and gathered evidence.

Burglary Suspect Caught On Video

Police were dispatched to the 300 block of Sauganash Street on December 4 in response to a report of burglary where a suspect was caught on video. The owner arrived home and discovered that a laundry room door had been forced open, several items in the house had been moved, and several drawers opened up. $500 cash was reported missing from the residence. The owner of the residence had security cameras outside the house. With evidence gathered from the scene and the video, police have suspect information and are investigating.
