Governors State Signs Cross Country Runner from Rich East

University Park, IL-(ENEWSPF)- Governors State University has signed Dominique Hunt 5’9, a student from Rich East High School in Park Forest, to its women’s cross country team.

Last spring, GSU was accepted into the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA), a governing body of small athletics programs that are dedicated to character-driven intercollegiate athletics. GSU athletics will begin NAIA competition with seven sports teams for the 2015-2016 season, including women’s volleyball, men’s and women’s cross country, men’s and women’s golf, and men’s and women’s basketball.
