Three New Officers Join PSC Police and Campus Safety Department

CHICAGO HEIGHTS–(ENEWSPF)–December 15, 2014. Prairie State College (PSC) recently welcomed three new police officers to the Police and Campus Safety Department during a recent swearing in ceremony held at the college. PSC President Dr. Terri L. Winfree administered the oath.

Among the new officers are Marcello Rivera, who comes to PSC after working as a part-time police officer for the South Chicago Heights Police Department; George Pfotenhauer, who joins the PSC police force after retiring as police chief from the Matteson Police Department; and Martin Cansino, who comes to PSC after working as a part-time police officer with the South Chicago Heights Police Department.

Led by John P. Murphy, Sr., chief of police and campus safety, the department also consists of Sergeants Al Thompson and Sam Pavesich, Police Officers Steve Winding, James O’Banner, Robert Pinnow, Daniel Vaci, and Jeff Bohlen and Campus Safety Officers Strafford Westgate, Julius Neveles, and Gilbert Vargas.
