Westchester, IL—(ENEWSPF)—September 8, 2013. On Saturday, September 21, State Senator Kimberly A. Lightford will host the Connect With Your Future College Fair. The event will be held at 10001 W. Roosevelt Road, Suite 222, Westchester from noon to 3 p.m.
Representatives from colleges and universities from around the state will be on hand with information about their schools and will give personal consultations. There also will be presentations from the Illinois Student Assistance Commission and the Illinois Board of Higher Education, and Athena Williams will give a workshop on money management.
The event is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served. Those 17 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
