Governors State University Offers Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certificate Course


University Park, Illinois—(ENEWSPF)–June 3, 2013 – Business professionals can learn methods of project planning and statistical tools during the Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certificate Course offered this summer at Governors State University.

The course will take place at GSU on Saturdays, from 9 a.m. to noon, between July 6 and August 17.

Students will learn how to integrate theories of business, statistics, and the elimination of waste to achieve tangible results. Instruction will take place in class and online, and will include projects, discussions, and hands-on applications. Participants will be awarded a Six Sigma Green Belt certificate after passing the final exam.

This course is ideal for executives, managers, frontline supervisors, business owners, engineers, and practitioners of continuous improvement. Prerequisites are a bachelor’s degree and a basic understanding of mathematics.
