The South Suburban College Business & Career Institute will present a Breakfast with BCI Workshop facilitated by Allen Babiarz titled “WRITING FOR SOCIAL MEDIA” on June 19, 2013. This event will take place at SSC’s University & College Center, Room 5230, on Wednesday, June 19th from 8:30 a.m. – 10:00 a.m., with a check-in time of 8:15 a.m.
There is quite a difference between writing for a personal Facebook page and a company’s Facebook page. Writing a professional message in 140 characters can be difficult. Attendees will learn how to skillfully express ideas and thoughts while staying within the boundaries of social media for business etiquette. Facebook and Twitter will be discussed.
The cost of the event and continental breakfast is $15 per person or $10 per person if three or more individuals from the same company attend. RSVP is required by 5:00 p.m. on June 17, 2013.
