Chicago, IL–(ENEWSPF)– Robert D. Grant, Special Agent-in-Charge of the Chicago office of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) is asking for the public’s help for information leading to the location and arrest of SAUL MARTINEZ, whose last known address was 4854 South Pulaski in Chicago.

MARTINEZ has been the subject of a nationwide manhunt, coordinated by Chicago FBI since April, 2009, when he was charged in a criminal complaint filed in U.S. District Court in Chicago with violation of federal drug laws.

MARTINEZ is a known member of the Latin Kings street gang and is charged with possession with intent to distribute cocaine. MARTINEZ was among numerous individuals charged as the result of an investigation code named “Operation Broken Dreams” which focused on wholesale cocaine distributors in the Chicago area. MARTINEZ is believed to be hiding in the Little Village area with other gang members. MARTINEZ is one of only five defendants from this case who is still at large.

MARTINEZ is described as a Hispanic/male, 35 years of age, 6’1” tall, weighing approximately 240 pounds, black hair and brown eyes. MARTINEZ has “King” with a five-point crown tattooed on his chest; “Martinez” on his back; and other tattoos on his forearms and right hand. MARTINEZ has an extensive criminal record and should be considered armed and dangerous.

Anyone recognizing MARTINEZ or having any information as to his current whereabouts is asked to call the Chicago FBI at (312) 421-6700.

The public is reminded that a complaint is not evidence of guilt and that all defendants in a criminal case are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
