Park Forest, IL-(ENEWSPF)- Park Forest police have charged 52-year-old Darcy L. Fox, 146 Well St., Park Forest, in connection with the January 2nd death of Albert Valdez, age 53, of Chicago Heights. According to police, Valdez was struck by a vehicle driven by Fox. According to a statement issued by police shortly after his death, Valdez died after being transported to St. James Hospital, Chicago Heights Campus, for emergency medical treatment.
According to police, Toxicology lab results found that cocaine, prescription drugs and alcohol were in Ms. Fox’s system at the time of the accident. She has been charged with felony aggravated DUI resulting in death, and issued citations charging DUI-alcohol, DUI-drugs, and aggravated DUI resulting in a death.
Fox was arrested and charged February 23.
