Park Forest, IL–(ENEWSPF)–Editor’s Note: We continue our reporting on news from police reports. Besides covering the many stories from around Park Forest that otherwise might go unnoticed, we want to bring more complete coverage of police reports than is reported by other local media.

Aisha M. Johnson, 26, 120 S. Sangamon St., Chicago, was arrested on January 28 and charged with one felony count of aggravated battery after police were dispatched to the 23400 block of Western Avenue to investigate a report of a disturbance.
Two tires and rims were reported stolen from a tow dolly at a business in the 2200 block of Western Avenue on January 28.
Mary A. Fischer, 65, 212 S. Orchard Dr., Park Forest, was issued a municipal citation charging damage to property when police were dispatched to a business in the 100 block of South Orchard Drive to investigate a criminal damage to property complaint.
A PlayStation 3 game system valued at $200 was reported stolen during a residential burglary at a residence in the 100 block of Hay Street on January 28.
An HP-Mac laptop computer valued at $500 was reported stolen from a residence in the first block of North Arbor Trail on January 28.
Micah Millhouse, 21, 14311 S. Wentworth Ave., Riverdale, was arrested on January 29 and issued a municipal citation charging possession of cannabis when an officer observed that the vehicle Millhouse was driving was traveling on Western Avenue from Main Street at 49 mph in a 35 mph zone, according to police.
Cory L. Weaver, 24, 1905 W. 162nd St., Markham, was arrested on January 30 and charged with driving while license was suspended; operating an uninsured motor vehicle, failure to yield when turning left, and also processed on a Cook County warrant charging a probation violation. According to police, an officer observed the vehicle Weaver was driving traveling eastbound on Sauk Trail approaching Western Avenue. The vehicle allegedly disregarded oncoming traffic and made an abrupt left turn onto northbound Western Avenue, forcing traffic traveling westbound on Sauk Trail to break forcefully, skidding to a stop to avoid collision, according to police.
A factory-issued GPS system was reported stolen from the center console of a vehicle parked in the 100 block of Marquette Street on February 1.
Police were dispatched to a residence in the 100 block of Main Street on February 1 to investigate a report of battery. Police have suspect information and are investigating.
A half a tank of gas and a gas cap were reported stolen from a vehicle parked in the 300 block of Juniper Street on February 2.
A resident who has a concealed carry permit and a valid FOID card advised police on February 4 that his black Taurus "Slim" model 9mm handgun was missing or lost. The firearm, serial number TGX17857, was placed into LEADS as missing/lost.
A purse was reported stolen from the back seat of a vehicle parked in the 400 block of Victory Drive on February 4. The rear driver’s side window of the vehicle was shattered.
A resident told police on February 4 that she was receiving letters from several collection agencies stating that she owed several hundred dollars for delinquent debts that were in her name. She advised police that the debts were fraudulent. One of the fees was a medical bill in the amount of $854.79; Another was from T-Mobile for an Internet connection device which she never purchased in the amount of $354.47. Police are investigating.
