Park Forest, IL–(ENEWSPF)–Editor’s Note: We continue our reporting on news from police reports. Besides covering the many stories from around Park Forest that otherwise might go unnoticed, we want to bring more complete coverage of police reports than is reported by other local media.

An arrest does not mean that a person is guilty. All those arrested are presumed innocent until proven guilty. A blue jacket valued at $250, a dark red Texas Diamond Back team jacket valued at $120 and a pair of Nike Air Jordans are among items reported stolen from a residence in the 200 block of Arcadia Street on December 22.

And iPad valued at $500 was reported stolen from a vehicle parked in the 400 block of Watseka Street on December 22.

A number of proof sets of United States coins are among items reported stolen from a residence in the 500 block of Homan Avenue on December 28.

A washer and dryer set valued at $400 and a Polaroid flat-screen television valued at $250 are among items reported stolen from a residence in the 200 block of Mohawk Street on December 30.

A juvenile was arrested and processed on a charge of criminal damage to property when police responded to the first block of West Rocket Circle on January 2.

Michael L. Madison, 54, 20 Apple Ln., Park Forest, was arrested on January 2 and charged with domestic battery when police responded to the first block of Apple Lane to investigate a report of domestic battery.

James T. Jedlicka, 29, 305 Bradley Dr., Chicago Heights, was arrested on January 2 and charged with domestic battery when police were dispatched to the 200 block of Nauvoo Street in reference to a report of domestic battery.

A Dell desktop computer was reported stolen from a residence in the 100 block of Indianwood Boulevard on January 2.

A juvenile was arrested on January 3 and charged with felony attempted residential burglary when police responded to the 300 block of Waverly Street to investigate a report of an attempted residential burglary.

A window of a residence in the 400 block of Tomahawk Street was reported shattered on January 3.

A 32-inch LG flat-screen television valued at $500 and a gray Acer laptop computer valued at $350 were reported stolen from a residence in the 300 block of Wildwood Drive on January 3.

Police say $500 cash, a General Electric microwave oven valued at $150, a DVD player valued at $150, and a 46-inch Vizio flat-screen television valued at $600 were reported stolen from a residence in the 300 block of Miami Street on January 4.

The front license plate (59837X-B) of a truck parked in the 300 block of Ash Street was reported stolen on January 4. The plate was entered into LEADS as stolen.

A 60-inch LG plasma flat-screen television valued at $1000 was reported stolen from a residence in the 300 block of Osage Street on January 5.

Leroy Alfored, 46, homeless, was arrested on January 5 and charged with battery and possession of drug paraphernalia when police responded to a business in the 300 block of Main Street to investigate a report of a disturbance.

Skylar N. Jenkins, 21, 22632 Lorraine Ct., Richton Park, was arrested on January 5 and charged with criminal trespass to residence and issued a traffic citation charging being under the influence of alcohol while walking in the roadway when police were dispatched to the area of Sauk Trail and Westwood Drive regarding a report of two male subjects who were "playing" in the roadway at 9:48 PM. Additionally, Christopher Hart, 24, 258 Marquette St., Park Forest, was arrested and charged with criminal trespass to residence, resisting a police officer and was issued a traffic citation charging being under the influence of alcohol while walking in the roadway.

The front living room window of a residence in the 200 block of Allegheny Street was reported shattered on January 5.

A juvenile was processed and charged with aggravated domestic assault when police were dispatched to the 100 block of Westwood Drive on January 6 in reference to a report of a domestic disturbance.

A Nintendo Wii game console valued at $100 and a 19-inch Dynex LCD television valued at $100 were reported stolen from a residence in the first block of East Rocket Circle on January 7.

Steve A. Johnson, 27, 100 Hemlock St., Apt. Court H-11, Park Forest, was arrested on January 7 and charged with domestic battery when police were dispatched to the 100 block of Hemlock Street to investigate a report of domestic battery.

Police responded to a residence in the 400 block of Sherman Street on January 7 when a resident discovered damage to a kitchen window and a rear door of his residence. Police are investigating.

Police say two juveniles were robbed at gunpoint while walking in the first block of Hemlock Street on January 7. The only item reported stolen was a cell phone valued at $400.

A juvenile was issued a municipal citation charging possession of tobacco by a minor on January 7 when police were dispatched to the 200 block of Wilson Street to investigate a report of a juvenile who was reported to have been smoking cannabis at the school.

Maria E. Dodson, 34, 123 Blackhawk Dr., Park Forest, was arrested on January 8 and charged with driving while license was suspended when an officer on patrol in the 200 block of Sauk Trail observed the vehicle Dodson was driving make an improper turn onto Sauk Trail and continue driving eastbound, according to police.

Corderro M. Williams, 24, 400 E. 33rd St., Apt. 714, Chicago, was arrested on January 8 and charged with possession of cannabis, operation of an uninsured motor vehicle, driving while license was suspended, and issued a citation charging speeding, when an officer driving north on Western Avenue approaching North Street was alerted that the vehicle Williams was driving southbound was exceeding the posted speed limit, according to police.

An officer was dispatched to a residence in the 200 block of Mohawk Street on January 9 to investigate a burglar alarm. The officer observed that the rear door of the residence appeared to have been forced open. The officer observed that there was damage to the rear door frame. Another officer arrived on the scene to assist. Nothing appeared to be disturbed or missing from the residence.

Clinton J. Schroder, 40, 227 Blackthorn Rd., Matteson,  was arrested on January 9 and charged with felony operation of motor vehicle with a revoked license, operation of a motor vehicle with no rear registration light, and operation of a motor vehicle with no insurance. An officer on patrol was in a vehicle facing southbound on Lester Road at Sauk Trail when he observed that the rear registration light of Schroder’s vehicle was not functioning, according to police.

An Xbox 360 valued at $399, a Toshiba laptop computer valued at $399, two HP laptop computers valued at $399, a 19-inch Sony flat-screen television valued at $299, and a pair of diamond earrings valued at $300, were reported stolen from a residence in the first block of Apple Lane on January 9.

An officer was dispatched to the Park Forest Police Department on January 9 to investigate a complaint of aggravated assault. Police have suspect information and are still investigating.

A black laptop computer valued at $399 and a black LG 47-inch flat-screen television valued at $450 were reported stolen from a residence in the 400 block of Springfield Street on January 9.
