Park Forest, IL–(ENEWSPF)–Editor’s Note: We continue our reporting on news from police reports. Besides covering the many stories from around Park Forest that otherwise might go unnoticed, we want to bring more complete coverage of police reports than is reported by other local media.

A juvenile was arrested on December 4 and charged with one misdemeanor count of distributing harmful material should after police investigated an incident where juveniles made video recordings of one teenager performing a sexual act on another teenager.
Robyn C. Zylstra, 31, 18 W. 19th St., Apt. 1, Chicago Heights, was arrested on December 11 and charged with harassment by telephone following an incident that began on December 5 when police were dispatched to the Park Forest Police Department to investigate a report of harassment.
Nikisha B. Brown, 32, 9 Cromwell Rd., Park Forest, was arrested on December 7 and issued a local ordinance citation charging unlawful visitation interference when police were dispatched to the Park Forest Police Department to investigate an unlawful visitation interference complaint.
A juvenile was arrested on December 9 and processed on a charge of retail theft and burglary when police investigated an incident of retail theft at a business in the 400 block of Sauk Trail.
A resident told police on December 10 that her bank account had two unauthorized withdrawals in the amount of $1000. Police are investigating.
Police say approximately $500 worth of copper pipe was reported stolen from five different air-conditioning units in the 100 block of Lester Street on December 10.
A lime green Hoover bagless vacuum, a steel security box, a rolling suitcase, an answering machine, an alarm clock, a cordless phone, and numerous items of costume jewelry were reported stolen from a residence in the 23400 block of Western Avenue on December 10.
A resident told police on December 11 that his checking account was overdrawn $953.74 and he subsequently discovered that his debit card was missing. He further discovered other activity on his account that he did not recognize.
A blue Schwinn Sidewinder bicycle valued at $150 was reported stolen from a residence in the 200 block of Arcadia Street on December 11.
Kizzie M. Beck, 34, 100 Chestnut St., Park Forest, was arrested on December 13 and issued citations charging dog at large, fierce dog, bites on a person, bites on an animal, and required rabies tag following an incident when police were dispatched to the 100 block of Chestnut Street on December 11 to meet with a dog bite victim. According to police, Beck’s black Rottweiler had gotten loose and attacked a small Shi-Tzu dog, and then bit the owner of the Shi-Tzu while he was attempting to save his dog.
A crowbar and a carjack were reported stolen from a vehicle parked in the 400 block of Titonka Street on December 12.
Police were dispatched to the 400 block of Lakewood Boulevard on December 12 to investigate a report of a domestic disturbance. Police have suspect information and continue to investigate.
A resident told police that someone used his debit card to make payments at a parking lot in the 400 block of West Lake Street in Chicago on November 28. The charges amounted to $6.00, charged twice, at the same location. The resident said that he did not lose his debit card. Police are investigating.
The driver’s side door handle of a vehicle at a residence in the 500 block of Davis Street was discovered to have been damaged after a domestic dispute. Police are investigating.
Police were dispatched to the first block of Marquette Street on December 12 to investigate a residential burglary. Multiple pieces of jewelry and a checkbook were reported stolen. Police have suspect information and continue to investigate.
A green air compressor valued at $50, a black Craftsman 18-inch chainsaw valued at $100, a Dell Toro snow blower valued at $100, a black steel safe, a black tire iron, a small flat-screen Sylvania television valued at $200, a 32 GB iPod Touch valued at $200, a prescription pill bottle containing 120 pills of oxycodone, an Invicta gold watch valued at $200, and a 50-inch Zenith plasma television are among items reported stolen from a residence in the 200 block of Tampa Street on December 12.
Police took a juvenile into custody after they were dispatched to a residence in the 400 block of Niagara Street to investigate a residential burglar alarm on December 12.
Christopher D. Anderson, Jr., 20, 447 W. 16th St., Chicago Heights, was arrested on December 13 and issued municipal citations charging possession of cannabis and possession of drug paraphernalia and issued additional citations charging driving a vehicle with only one red taillight, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, and driver’s license not on person when an officer observed a vehicle traveling southbound on Western Avenue from Sauk Trail with a broken passenger side taillight, according to police.
A backpack containing a gold ring valued at $300, black and white headphones valued at $100, silver sunglasses valued at $200, an iPod valued at $299, and other items, was reported stolen from a vehicle parked in Saginaw Place on December 14.
A vehicle reported stolen from the 300 block of Marquette Street on December 14 was discovered in Ford Heights by Cook County Sheriff’s Police after three subjects fled from the vehicle when they saw Cook County Police vehicles driving towards them. The Cook County officers did not know why the subjects fled as the vehicle had not yet been entered into LEADS as stolen. After searching the empty vehicle, the officers had it towed. After the vehicle was entered into LEADS as stolen, the owner was advised where vehicle was located.
Silhouette C. Kangethe, 22, 223 Forest Blvd., Park Forest, was arrested on December 15 and charged with domestic battery and obstructing identification when an officer working detail at the Park Forest Police Department heard loud shouting emanating from the lobby area of the station.
A juvenile was arrested and issued a municipal citation charging disorderly conduct when police responded to the area of Orchard Drive and Westwood Drive to investigate a report of a reckless discharge of a firearm. Police say a witness observed three juveniles walking southbound on Orchard Drive and saw one juvenile pulled a gun from inside his coat and shoot it into the air. Police identified the weapon as a paintball gun.
