Washington, DC–(ENEWSPF)–July 1, 2015. The Department of Defense announced today the death of a sailor who was supporting Operation Enduring Freedom.
Senior Chief Petty Officer Jason P. May, 38, of Chesterfield, Michigan, died June 29, on board USS Essex (LHD 2), of non-combat related causes while the ship was at sea.
