Former Congressman Jesse Jackson, Jr. Pleads Guilty to Misusing $750,000 in Campaign Money

Washington, DC—(ENEWSPF)—February 20, 2013. Former Congressman Jesse Jackson, Jr. pleaded guilty in federal court this morning to spending $750,000 in campaign cash on luxury items.

Jackson could face up to five years in prison.

His wife, former Chicago Alderman Sandi Jackson pled guilty this afternoon to filing false tax returns. She is due back in court for sentencing on Monday July 1.
