Village Manager Tom Mick reported on Wednesday, October 11 that the Village Board announced this past Monday night that longtime Park Forest resident Georgia O’Neill has been selected to succeed outgoing Trustee Harold Brown. In early September, Trustee Brown submitted his resignation from the Board so that he can relocate to Arizona to be closer to his family. Ms. O’Neill will be formally sworn into her duties at the October 23, 2006 Board Meeting, the same date that Trustee Brown’s resignation will take effect.
Mick's communication encourages residents to attend the October 23rd meeting to wish Harold well and thank him for his service or if you wanted to welcome incoming Trustee O’Neill.
