Yea! We’re going to Disneyland … and then to see Obama!
Sure, President Obama is a Chicago guy and, in fact, when the Chicago Cubs won the 2016 World Series, after a brief 108-year draught, he tweeted an invitation to the team to visit him in D.C. before he leaves, even though he’s a lifelong White Sox fan.

Well, the team, whose chairman Tom Ricketts is an avid Trump supporter, as is much of the family, will make the annual World Series visit to the White House next Monday, just days before Donald Trump becomes the occupant.
Traditionally, most Series-winning teams wait until the next season is underway before trekking to the White House, so the Cubs’ decision is a break with custom. The rightwing is mostly tossing this off as a Chicago team wanting to visit a Chicago president (and here I thought the right believed Obama was from Kenya).
Still, a number of sports figures have already said they wouldn’t visit a Trump White House, and I can’t help but think there are a number of Chicago Cubs who’d rather make the trip early, regardless of Obama’s Chicago connection, simply so they don’t have to shake the tiny hand of the Groper-in-Chief.
I wouldn’t be surprised if Clemson is trying to schedule a quick visit.
