‘Pen & Ink’ Exhibit Opens on March 1 at Union Street Gallery

The ‘Pen & Ink’ exhibit will open on Thursday, March 1 at Union Street Gallery, 1527 Otto Boulevard in Chicago Heights. The exhibit will run through March 24. Juror, Kate Lewis, has selected pieces that highlight the variety of ways artists utilize pen and ink.

‘Pen & Ink’ juror, Kate Lewis, will talk about her artwork and experiences Saturday, March 3 at the Gallery starting at 11 a.m. You can see more of Kate’s work at her website.

There will also be a reception at the Gallery on Saturday, March 3 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.

Refreshments will be available during both the talk and reception. The exhibit and all other events are free and open to the public.

Gallery hours are Thursday and Friday from noon to 4 p.m. and Saturday from 11 .m. to 4 p.m. For additional information, call 708-754-2601 or visit www.unionstreetgallery.org.

NOTE: It is anticipated that Kate Lewis’ 11 a.m. presentation will last about an hour. If you are interested in attending both the talk and reception and want to get lunch in between, there are some restaurants nearby.
