Park Forest, IL-(ENEWSPF)- The Park Forest Commission on Human Relations recognized the winners of this year’s Good Egg Award last Monday evening at Village Hall.

This year’s recipients include Glen Rosenquist of Steger (pictured left) and John and Collette Wisnewski of Park Forest (pictured middle) for the trio’s collective efforts in providing food to those in need through the St. Irenaeus Food Pantry. They were nominated by area residents who say that they “go the extra mile to accommodate and serveothers.”

The Good Egg Award is an annual award which began in 1973 as a way to honor individuals and organizations who make exceptional contributions to improving the quality of life for residents in Chicago’s southland region.

Park Forest congratulates and thanks Glen, John, and Collette for their tremendous acts of kindness and service.
