Park Forest, IL—(ENEWSPF)—October 2, 2015. ‘Stillness’ – an exhibit of six contemporary artists of still life will opens at Tall Grass Arts Association, 367 Artists Walkway, Park Forest, on Friday, October 2. The exhibit will run through November 7. An artists’ reception will be held on Saturday, October 3 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the Gallery.
The artists featured in ‘Stillness’ are: Maureen Andrews, Michael Chelich, RexAnne Coad, Julie Dekker, Kathleen Farrell, and Mary Ann Trzyna. These six contemporary artists are dedicated to portraying objects in a representational style, from extremely realistic to expressive interpretations. Artists in the show have long-term commitments to creating still life images; have extensive resumes of exhibits, commissions, and awards; and each will present ten or more drawings or paintings in the Tall Grass exhibit.
