Park Forest, IL—(ENEWSPF)—July 23, 2015. The Forest Preserve District of Will County in cooperation with Thorn Creek Audubon Society will host the ‘Hummingbirds Up Close’ program on Saturday, August 15 from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. The event will be held at Audubon’s new program venue in Plum Creek Nature Center (Goodenow Grove), 27064 S. Dutton Road, Beecher.

Participants will be enlightened about hummingbirds and you will see them at close range. “Hummers” will be captured and banded by an Illinois licensed avian ecologist.
