MCHS Inducted Five New Hall of Famers at Olympia Fields Country Club on Feb. 5th

Chicago Heights, IL-(ENEWSPF)- The Marian Catholic High School Community celebrated the achievements of five remarkable Hall of Fame Awardees on Thursday, February 5, 2015 at Olympia Fields Country Club. The 2015 Marian Catholic High School Hall of Fame Awards include:

Alumnus of the Year, Daniel P Mulhollan ’62; Athlete of the Year, Joseph Klupchak ’85; Athlete of the Year, Mark Weishaar ’76; Fine Arts Achievement, Charles Misovye ’78; and Spirit of Marian, John F. Kozojed.

“I can say this is one of the best days of my life,” said Mark Weishaar ’78, Athlete of the Year Awardee. “Having my family and friends whom I haven’t seen in years attend this event for me was very special. I am privileged to receive this award and thankful for those who have helped me earn this honor.”

The Normandy Room at Olympia Fields Country Club was filled with over 230 Hall of Fame guests. The evening entitled entrainment by the Marian Catholic Band during cocktail hour, heart-filled words from the five new Hall of Fame inductees, and rekindling with friends and companions.

The MCHS Hall of Fame was established in 1994 to honor those graduates and friends of Marian Catholic High School who have embodied and upheld the school’s motto “teaching scholars with a soul," the Hall of Fame has inducted over 100 distinguished Marian Catholic alumni and friends.
