Park Forest, IL—(ENEWSPF)—May 16, 2014. The Unitarian Universalist Community Church (UUCC), 70 Sycamore Drive, Park Forest, will screen the documentary film ‘War on Whistleblowers’ on Friday, May 23 at 7 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.
‘War on Whistleblowers’ looks at four whistleblowers (before Edward Snowden) who had their lives practically destroyed after they went to the press with evidence of government wrongdoing. How our government should handle whistleblowing will be just one of the issues talked about in the lively discussion following the film.
Coffee, tea and popcorn will be provided. Bring a snack to share if you wish. Optional donations appreciated. Please Note: the potluck dinners previously held before the movie have been discontinued.
