Park Forest, IL--(ENEWSPF)--August 26, 2010. The Southland Community Associates of the Art Institute of Chicago invites the residents of the Southland area to its Annual Membership Tea on Wednesday, September 8 at Governors State University (GSU), 1 University Parkway, University Park, IL.
Tea will be served at 1 P.M. in GSU's Hall of Honors. Following refreshments, at 2 P.M. a lecture titled, "It Only Hurts When You Laugh: Satire and Controversy in Art" will be presented by Annie Morse in Engebretson Hall. Annie Morse is a senior lecturer for the Art Institute of Chicago.
