Park Forest, IL-(ENEWSPF)- Mourning bunting is draped over the entrance to Village Hall to commemorate the death of former Village Trustee Cynthia Jewel Reed.
Reed served as Village Trustee from April 2006 until April 2007. She also served on the Park Forest Commission on Human Relations and was actively involved on the Commission’s Black History Month programs.
Services will be held at Woods Funeral Home, 1003 S. Halsted Street, Chicago Heights, IL 60411, on Monday, October 27, 2014. The wake will be at 6 p.m., the funeral at 7 p.m.
Burial will be Tuesday, October 28, 2014 at 11 a.m. at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, 27034 S. Diagonal Road, Elmwood, IL 60421.
