Police: Park Forest Woman Still Missing

Park Forest, IL–(ENEWSPF)– Dana Hayes, the Park Forest mother who was reported missing from her home on Monday, January 25, 2010, has still not been located. Police released a statement Saturday with pictures of Ms. Hayes’ automobile, a 2005 Silver Kia, Illinois License A273099, which was found in a construction area the evening of Thursday, January 28, in Harvey on 159th. St.

The car was unoccupied, according to police.

Ms. Hayes dropped her son off at Rich East High School in the morning of the 25th., then left for work.

She never arrived.

Her family said it was out of character for her not to appear at work or fail to notify here family that she was going somewhere.

Dana Hayes is described as a black female, five feet two inches tall, weighing 135 lbs., with brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a black jacket with gray fur on the hood, black slacks, and black boots with her on top, according to police. Silver four door 2005 Kia Sportage, License A273099.

The Major Crimes Task Force, along with several Park Forest Detectives, have assisted in the interviewing of Ms. Hayes’ friends and acquaintances in an effort to learn her whereabouts.

The Park Forest Police Department is asking that anyone who might have information on Ms. Hayes to contact Detective Brian Rzyski at 708 748-1309, or Deputy Chief Mike McNamara at 708 748-8390.
