Park Forest, IL–(ENEWSPF)– Park Forest Baseball has begun Early Registration for the 2010 Season. By registering on October 17 at Village Hall from 10-2 PM, you can save $10 on the total fee. The last registration date for a discount will be on November 14 at Village Hall from 10-2 PM, where you can save $5 on the total fee. Payment is due by December 31, 2009.
Early registration will entitle the player(s) to participate in indoor clinics being held through November at no additional charge. Another option for parents is to put a $25 non-refundable deposit down toward the 2010 Season registration fee. This will also allow the player(s) to participate in the clinics. The clinics will cover fielding, throwing, pitching, catching, and hitting.
The 2010 Season is in the midst of being planned right now. We have now registered in the Campbell Soup label program as well as the Coca Cola Cap Rewards program in an effort to earn products for league use or that can be used as picnic drawing prizes at the end of the season. Another program is currently being looked at that will help the player's family defray the season's costs.
However, anyone can help Park Forest Baseball earn funds by simply using going to www.Goodsearch.com and using it as your search engine. Enter in "Park Forest Baseball" as the charity or organization to be helped and every search that is made will generate .01 to the league. Online purchases can also be made through Goodbuy.com in the same manner, with differing percentages being given to the league. These two sites can be used by anyone who chooses to enter our league as the organization, so this information can be used by anyone you know and it is a chance to help our players.
This season we are starting a Booster Club. For a cost of $10, you will receive a grey short-sleeve tee-shirt with the PFBB logo on it, a PFBB Window Cling (great for your vehicle), one free combo meal at our concession stand during the season, and a quartely newsletter. Boosters will also be listed in the Ad Book for our season, which will be used for Opening Day and our 2nd Annual Park Forest Tournaments.
